Here is what the ranks mean:

Tirones -> The new recruits in training.

    Velite Recruit -> New Member

Munifex -> The basic private level foot soldier.

Hastati -> Frontline spearman in a cohort

Elite Triarii -> Senior warriors in a cohort

Decurion -> Commanded a cavalry unit of 10 to 30 Eques legionis.

Imaginifer -> A special position from the time of Augustus onwards. Carried the standard bearing the image of the Emperor as a constant reminder of the troops' loyalty to him. He was paid twice the basic wage.

Tesserarius -> (Guard commander) One for each century. They acted as seconds to the Optios and were paid one and a half times the basic wage. Keeper of the watchword, administrative assistant to HQ Staff, third in command of a century. Equivalent to a middle ranking non-commissioned officer

Aquilifer -> The aquilifer was the legion's Standard- or Aquila (eagle)- bearer and was an enormously important and prestigious position. Losing the aquila was considered a great dishonour. This post therefore had to be filled with steady veteran soldiers, with an excellent understanding of the tactics of the legion. He was paid twice the basic wage.

Optio-> they were appointed by the centurion from within the ranks to act as his second in command. Paid twice the basic wage. Equivalent to a modern Lieutenant.

Centurion -> The rank of centurion was an officer rank that included many grades, meaning centurions had very good prospects for promotion.

Praetorian Guard -> Senior Centurion level rank

Pilus Prior -> The commander of the first cohort of each Centuria (except the first), with the following titles for the Centurions in sequence throughout each Centuria.

Primus Pilus -> The Primus Pilus was the commanding centurion of the first cohort and the senior centurion of the entire legion. He was called first file because he also directly commanded the first century of the first cohort.

Praefectus cohortis -> Commander of an infantry unit or infantry unit with organic horsemen.

General of Rome -> Self Explanatory

Imperator -> Highest level warrior in the legion before senior ranks

*Custom Rank* -> 50M+ XP contribution to the guild

Dungeon Crawler - This is the Dungeon Rank. If you break the rules you will be sent here to crawl around the dungeon with the rats. You will also be subjected to stones being thrown at you and frequent whippings until you learn your lesson.

**For Major Rule Violations, the Guild XP to re-aquire rank for levels 1-100 will be 50K and
Over Level 100 will be 100K.

[size=16]Special Ranks for high contribution in the guild

Council of Elders - Each legion had 5 military tribunes of equestrian (knight) class citizens. They were in many cases career officers and served many of the important administrative tasks of the Legion, but still served in a full tactical command function during engagements.

      Princeps Senatus - Recruiter

Quaestor - Guild Rewards/Arena - In the Roman Republic a quaestor was an elected official who supervised the treasury and financial affairs of the state, its armies and its officers.

Paladin of Apollo (Dux) - Suspended for time being

      Legion Executioner - Guild Kicker

Legatus - The overall legion commander. The post was usually filled by a senator, appointed by the emperor, who held command for 3 or 4 years, although he could serve for a much longer period. In a Roman province with only one legion, the legatus was also the provincial governor and in provinces with multiple legions, each legion had a legatus and the provincial governor had overall command of them all.

Praefectus Castrorum - The Camp Prefect was third in command of the legion. Generally he was a long serving veteran from a lower social status than the tribunii whom he outranked, and who previously had served as primus pilus and finished his 25 years with the legions. However, Camp Prefects were also on occasion appointed from aristocrats, in the same way as tribunes.

Magister Militum - Rewards Rank. Honorary title for outstanding leadership and 3rd in command.

High Consul - 2nd in Command to entire Legion.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Retired Guild Founder - For all retired guild founder and original guild founder team of the retreat
Senatus Consultum Ultimum - Retired Guild members
Missio Ignominiosa - Guild members not active - Means Dishonourable discharge
